Denver weather: Mostly sunny with possible showers late in the metro area

Monday’s high will reach about 87 degrees before the rest of the week returns to the 90s

It’s going to be another sunny one in Denver Monday with a high reaching 87, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will cool to 62 at night with a 20% chance of showers or thunderstorms between 7 and 11 p.m. Winds could gust to 18 mph.

It gets hotter on Tuesday with a high of 93. There’s a 10% chance of rain after 1 p.m. The low will be 63.

Hot temperatures will continue through the week with highs around 94 on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
