Though nothing should surprise us anymore, this truly did: Miracle Bars are back. Maybe they’ll save Christmas from being canceled this year, too.
Thatap right. The holiday pop-up franchise that has swept the nation is, somehow, COVID-19-proof. And itap coming back for us all this winter.
The Denver area will be blessed with four Miracle Bar locations in 2020. For those counting, thatap ; yes, they’re growing. Larimer Square, Avanti in Lower Highland, The Arvada Tavern and Por Wine House on Louisville’s Main Street will all be decked out by the end of next month.

Only the Arvada Tavern’s upstairs will be transformed into Sippin’ Santa. That brand has a tropical vibe with drinks like North Pole Punch and Rum Rum Rudolph.
Miracle Bar is more classic in its approach; think Christmapolitans and Jingle Balls Nog. But letap be honest, itap not so much the drinks, but the glassware and the setting that are most exciting to us.
The least exciting? Trying to get a reservation, and then trying not to show up in everyone else’s selfie while taking turns sitting on blow-up Santa’s lap.
Itap too early to say if there will be a Santa to sit on or a Rudolph to mount this year.
“Each pop-up concept will look a bit different than in the past,” a press release said. “All (Miracle Bar) locations will follow directions from their local officials for capacity and health guidelines.”
We’ll see what this means for mistletoe appearances and shared Blitzen bowls of rum punch.
Miracle Bars and Sippin’ Santa will start as early as the week before Thanksgiving in Denver, Arvada and Louisville. Stay tuned for more details.
