Itap beginning to feel a lot like winter. Today is a great Friday to curl up with an album or book and watch the snow. For those getting out, expect slick conditions all day.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, light snow will persist Friday until dinner time, with the high temperature only reaching 30 degrees. The flurries will add up to about an inch in the prairies and metro area, while the mountains could see up to 3 inches. The low for Friday will plunge into the high teens. It’s the first measurable snowfall since Nov. 24.

Saturday will bring another day of light snow, with forecasts calling for a high of 34 degrees. Snow will taper off before midnight, and the low temperature will once again drop into the teens.

The sun will finally peek out again Sunday, bringing with it a high of 38 degrees and clear skies.

Next week, Monday will be clear with a high of 42 degrees, but another round of light snow could be on the way.
