Denver weather: Sunshine Sunday before potentially more snow Monday

Sunny skies return to the Denver region Sunday and temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-30s after two days of cold and snowy weather.

Sunday will see a high temperature of 35 degrees, according to the weather service.

Clouds will roll in Sunday evening and Monday will bring a 40% chance of snow to the plains, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.

A 20% chance of snow will continue Tuesday, then the week is expected to dry up and warm slightly, with sunshine through Friday.
