One person was taken into custody following a multi-vehicle crash in Lakewood that seriously injured several people.
At 5:30 p.m. Thursday, the Lakewood Police Department received several 911 calls regarding a multi-vehicle crash at South Vance Street and West Alameda Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene of the crash, they found several involved vehicles and multiple people with serious injuries.
A driver who was in a black Toyota FJ Cruiser was taken into custody, police said. Police are investigating drugs and speeding as contributors to the crash.
