X Games Aspen 2021 concluded at Buttermilk Mountain on Sunday, January 31, 2021. Eileen Gu made history as she became the first Chinese gold medalist as well as becoming the first ever rookie to capture three medals – two gold and one bronze. Veteran Jamie Anderson captured her 19th X Games medal to move into second place all-time behind Canadian skier Mark McMorris. Shaun White, who is the men’s all-time leader in SuperPipe gold medals, was on site during practice sessions, but pulled out of the event due to an apparent knee injury.
