Gregory Gomez, 45, turned himself in to police Saturday following a hit-and-run crash that killed a bicyclist.

The crash occurred Friday, leaving one person dead.

The victim was riding his bike across Morrison Road when he was hit by a juvenile male driver and then struck again by Gomez, police said. He suffered broken legs and a skull fracture, according to a probable cause statement.

The juvenile was cited on Saturday “for investigation of failing to report an accident, careless driving resulting in serious bodily injury – vulnerable road user, leaving the scene of an accident, driving without a valid license and driving without proof of insurance,” according to the news release.

Gomez was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.
