A police procession escorted a hearse carrying the casket of fallen Boulder police officer Eric Talley to the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver on March 29, 2021. A Solemn High Requiem Mass was held for Talley, who was gunned down by a mass shooter at the King Soopers in Boulder last week. The mass was celebrated by Father Dan Nolan, FSSP. Other priests of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter, along with Archbishop Samuel J. Aquilia, Archbishop of Denver, were in attendance. The funeral for Talley will be held on Tuesday in Lafayette.
