A man shot by police Friday in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood has died, authorities announced Monday.
Police responded around 5:30 p.m. Friday to reports of a man allegedly circling Martin Luther King Jr. Park while firing shots from his car, police said.
Officers instructed the man to drop his gun, but police said he proceeded to threaten them with his weapon.
Multiple officers then shot the man, who was taken to the hospital. The individual killed has not been identified.
UPDATE: The adult male subject involved in this incident has been pronounced deceased. This is an ongoing investigation.
