
Pop band OneRepublic is joining the lineup for Major League Baseball’s All-Star week in Denver.
The band, which formed in Colorado Springs in the early aughts, is slated to perform two songs on Sunday, July 11 at Coors Field, between the All-Star Futures Game and Celebrity Softball match.
OneRepublic’s 2013 release “Counting Stars” remains the band’s biggest Billboard hit with , peaking at No. 2. The group is stopping through in advance of releasing a new album, entitled “Human,” which is due out in December. In May, it debuted “Run,” a new single laced with catchy electronic beats and melodic whistling.
Fans who don’t have tickets to the events, which are nearly sold out, can catch part of OneRepublic’s performance on ESPN a day later, when the station airs coverage of the celebrity softball match.
