Three men were arrested on gun charges Friday night in downtown Denver, two blocks from Coors Field.
they responded to the 1800 block of Wazee Street following a report of a suspicious occurrence.
“The investigation led to the arrest of three males,” police said in a tweet, adding that “charges are pending but they are related to illegal possession of firearms.”
The arrests occurred as downtown is playing host to Major League Baseball All-Star Game festivities. Police have not named the suspects or said whether they are from the Denver area or were in town for the festivities.
