
After triple-digit temperatures earlier in the week, Saturday’s weather is expected to be a brief respite for the Denver metro area.
Highs in the mid-80s are forecast for Denver and its suburbs Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. The metro area will remain dry and wind gusts could reach 30 mph at times.
Cooler today with just an isolated chance of storms over the higher terrain by the afternoon. Conditions over the lower elevations and Denver Metro area will remain dry with some gusty winds up to 30 mph.

Temperatures will begin creeping up Sunday, with highs near 90 degrees, before returning to the mid-90s by Monday, according to the NWS.
The middle of next week could bring thunderstorms. The NWS predicts there is a 25% to 35% chance of showers Tuesday through Thursday.
Warming trend by early next week with a better chance for thunderstorms, especially Tuesday through Thursday.
