A woman is dead following an overnight drive-by shooting in Aurora.
Just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Aurora police say they responded to the 1200 block of North Worcester Street in the Hoffman Heights neighborhood for reports of a shooting.
According to an Aurora Police Department release, multiple rounds struck the residence and a 47-year-old woman was found shot inside. Authorities say the woman later died at the hospital.
Police say an unknown vehicle pulled up in front of a residence on that block to fire the shots before fleeing. They do not have any information on possible suspects or the car as of Tuesday morning.
The Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the name of the dead woman.
Officials are offering up to $2,000 for information on this shooting.
