Denver weather: Slight temperature increase set for next week

After a few days in the 60s, the Front Range will experience a small change in temperatures with a shift into the 70s.

The National Weather Service in Boulder forecasts sunny skies for Saturday with a high of 71 degrees. A 10% chance of thunderstorms is expected between 4 and 9 p.m., but those storms are likely to occur in Summit and Park counties. Winds will be light and variable.

By Sunday, sunny skies will dominate the forecast with a high of 76 degrees. Clear skies will mark Sunday night with a low of 46 degrees.

Monday will be warmer with a high of 78 degrees to start the workweek. Winds will remain calm. Monday night will have a low of 47 degrees.
