BEIJING OLYMPICS: Here are the Colorado athletes competing in the Winter Games
Kearney is making his second Olympic appearance, placing 13th in the men’s snowboard cross event at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. At the 2021 world championships, he finished 14th in the men’s snowboard cross and fourth in the snowboard cross team event. He was also a drummer and guitarist for a metal band and once toured nationally as a rhythm guitarist for rock group Them Evils.
