Denver is due for a weekend warmup, as high temperatures near 60 degrees, but it will not last long as another storm that brings snow will move in early next week.
Elevated wind gusts up to 30-35 mph will occur this afternoon for parts of the northeastern plains. Dry conditions for all areas.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will reach 49 degrees under sunny skies on Friday. The only significant weather of note in the area will be elevated wind gusts of up to 30 mph around the northern Colorado border in the late afternoon. Lows will drop to 23 degrees Friday night.
Saturday will be even warmer, with highs downtown reaching 57 degrees with sunny skies. The overnight temperatures will dip into the low 30s.
Sunday should be the warmest day on the upcoming forecast, with a high of 58 degrees under mostly sunny skies.
There’s a 30% chance of snow beginning Monday around lunchtime. The flurries could fall through Wednesday night.
