A man was shot dead in Commerce City overnight, and police also responded to a house party where two men were stabbed and a juvenile shot.
At about 12:35 a.m. Saturday officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 6900 block of East 74th Avenue and found a man dead on the street. The victim died of a gunshot wound, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
At about 11:15 p.m. Friday officers responded to the 11200 block of Florence Street on a report of a stabbing. As officers arrived shots were fired, and multiple juveniles and young adults fled from a large house party.
Two men were stabbed and a juvenile was shot in the incident. The three were taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
