The TobyMac Hits Deep concert has been rescheduled after a fire broke out in a maintenance area of Ball Arena on Thursday evening, prompting an evacuation of the building before the show.
The concert will take place March 9. All tickets for the March 3 show will be honored at the rescheduled date.
The building’s sprinkler system extinguished the fire which broke out at about 6:15 p.m., said Capt. Greg Pixley, a Denver Fire Department spokesman. There were no injuries.
TobyMac was scheduled to take the stage at 7 p.m.
The building was evacuated as a precautionary measure, Pixley said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries have been reported, according to a Ball Arena news release.
