A suspect has been arrested for a shooting death at an Adams County motel.
At about 3:35 p.m. March 15 deputies responded to the Venture Inn, 7333 Pecos St., and found a man dead in a doorway of a room, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. The victim died of a gunshot wound to the torso.
Hayden Allen Banks, 31, of Aurora, was arrested Friday at the Valli Hi Motel, 7320 Pecos St., the release said. He was taken into custody without incident.
Banks is being held on investigation of first-degree murder and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.
