A man was shot overnight in Lower Downtown two blocks from Coors Field, according to police.
ALERT: officers are investigating a shooting in the 2000 block of Larimer St. One male victim is being transported to the hospital with unknown extent of injuries. Updates will be posted as they become available.

The shooting happened in the 2000 block of Larimer Street, police said in a tweet at 12:57 a.m. Saturday. The victim, who was taken to a hospital, is expected to survive. An investigation is ongoing.
