
Winds have been active for several days in Denver and will continue Friday as another red flag warning goes into effect this afternoon.

Red Flag Warnings are again in effect for a portion of the lower elevations. You know the drill – no outdoor burning, avoid activities that could cause sparks.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will enjoy a sunny day with a high of 68 degrees. Winds will gust to 25 mph, creating critical fire conditions. The low will dip to 34 degrees.
Denver will reach 66 degrees on Saturday under partly sunny skies. The day will be a respite from the wind, but there’s a 20% chance of overnight showers, beginning at 7 p.m. The low will fall to 41 degrees and winds will start to increase during the night, gusting to 15 mph.
Winds could gust to 25 mph on Sunday, but the sun will come back out. The high is slated to be 70 degrees.
Meteorologists think next week will be warm, clear and dry.
