Temperatures are expected to reach 80 degrees this afternoon under sunny skies, the National Weather Service said.
Breezy weather could have winds reaching 6 to 11 mph, with gusts up to 16 mph.
Isolated thunderstorms and rain could occur in the northeast corner of Colorado, the weather service said.
Warm temperatures will occur this afternoon. High based showers will focus mainly near the WY/CO/NE border which could produce wind gusts up to 40-50 mph. Areas in the far northeastern corner could see isolated severe thunderstorms from 2 PM to 8 PM.

The rest of the week is expected to stay sunny but drop in temperature, with breezes starting Friday and lasting through Saturday. Friday’s high is expected to be 64 degrees, before a high of 67 degrees on Saturday.
A slight chance of rain will come on Friday between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., when the weather service predicts a 20% chance of precipitation.
