Make room in those freezers and pantries because a new Trader Joe’s location is opening up this week in Parker.

The store, located at 18374 Cottonwood Drive, will have a grand opening at 8 a.m. on Friday.

The 9,600-square-foot store will be the first Trader Joe’s in the southeast metro-Denver area, according to a Trader Joe’s news release. The store’s interior will be decorated in artwork featuring local mountain views and Parker icons, the news release said.

brimming with exclusive-to-Trader-Joe’s snacks, produce, bakery items, frozen meals, meats and cheeses and dried goods will be the eighth Trader Joe’s in Colorado. The other stores are located around Denver, Littleton, Boulder, Greenwood Village, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins.

As is standard with Trader Joe’s stores, the new Parker location will donate 100% of products that aren’t sold but remain fit for consumption to different community-based organizations, the news release said.
