Ciara is on a hot streak – so hot that the singer and new Denverite recently traveled to Barbados for a dip in the ocean and a photoshoot to grace the cover of the new Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
, announced Monday, alongside Kim Kardashian, model Maye Musk and musician/model Yumi Nu.
“I’ve always dreamt of being on this cover, ever since I was really young. And especially as an entertainer,” Ciara said in a recorded interview following her shoot. “Itap a dream come true for me.”

Ciara has long been a style icon, with several original fashion brands to her name. Among her favorite swimwear looks for the magazine were a jean two-piece, a leopard print one-piece that she sported with a cowboy hat, and a blue, semi-sheer one-piece with a turtleneck and long sleeves that extend into gloves.
