Officers found the body of Alex Malone Friday in the canal near Picadilly Road and Green Valley Ranch Boulevard while conducting a death investigation, police said in a 12:07 p.m. Friday tweet.
Police later announced Malone’s death was being investigated as a homicide.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 (STOP). Tipsters may be eligible for a reward.
