A warm Friday will drop humidity levels to near-critical fire levels for the Denver area, and areas north and east of Denver will be in a Red Flag Warning Friday afternoon.
The high for Denver on Friday is 77 degrees and the day will be sunny and breezy, with wind gusts will reach up to 35 mph in some areas. The low Friday night will be 42 degrees.
Humidity east of Denver from Arapahoe and Adams counties through the plains will be the lowest, which is why they will be in a Red Flag Warning starting at noon, but Denver and the mountains will have slightly higher humidity and avoid the most critical fire weather conditions.
Through the weekend temperatures will drop off, but the sunny, dry conditions will remain.
Saturday’s high is 65 degrees, Sunday’s high will be 61 degrees and Monday’s high will also be 65 degrees. The lows each day with be in the low 40s or upper 30s.
Sunday is the only day through next week when there will be any precipitation chances in the area, but any showers will likely only be in the South Park and Palmer Divide areas. Most of the metro area, though, will at least see a rise in humidity Sunday that will drop fire weather conditions.
Next week will be mostly a repeat of this week, with sunny days, highs in the upper 60s and low 70s and lows in the 40s.
