One person is dead and seven people were taken to hospitals after a shooting at a house party early Saturday in Adams County, according to the sheriff’s office.
At approx. 3 am this morning deputies responded to 911 calls of shots being fired @ a house party. Upon arrival deputies discovered multiple victims that were transported to area hospitals, 1 victim was pronounced at the hospital. Investigation is preliminary/ongoing.

Deputies responded about 3 a.m. to the area of Greenwood Boulevard and Dakin Street, just west of Interstate 25 and north of U.S. 36, in the Western Hills neighborhood. One victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The sheriff’s office said seven people were “injured” in the incident.
Investigators on Thursday said that they’ve found an early 2000s dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe that has been linked to the shooting.

The suspect vehicle was found abandoned in Aurora near the Lowry area, according to a sheriff’s office tweet. An investigation is ongoing.
