One person is dead and seven people were taken to hospitals after a shooting at a house party early Saturday in Adams County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies responded about 3 a.m. to the area of Greenwood Boulevard and Dakin Street, just west of Interstate 25 and north of U.S. 36, in the Western Hills neighborhood. One victim was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The sheriff’s office said seven people were “injured” in the incident.

Investigators on Thursday said that they’ve found an early 2000s dark blue Chevrolet Tahoe that has been linked to the shooting.

The suspect vehicle was found abandoned in Aurora near the Lowry area, according to a sheriff’s office tweet. An investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information on the shooting, or on suspects, is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 720-322-1313.
