George Strait may be , but come 2023, the King of Country will be swinging through the Mile High City.
On Monday, Strait announced a run of six concerts next summer, which includes a June 24 stop at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium. Country artists Chris Stapleton and Little Big Town are scheduled to join the brief tour.
Tickets to the honkytonk go on sale to the public on Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. via American Express credit card holders can gain access to pre-sale tickets as early as Oct. 26 — and fans may want to be at the ready when they do.
Straitap concerts are notorious sell-outs. In 2018, when the musician announced a North Texas date — his first since — tickets to the 14,000-person venue sold out seemingly instantaneously, much to the indignation of many fans. Tickets, originally priced at $20 to $250, for some of the best seats.
at Fort Worth’s Dickie’s Arena, for example, will cost you $374 at the very least. (Perhaps itap because all his exes live in Texas?)
In addition to Denver, Strait’s tour next year travels to Glendale, Ariz. (May 6); Milwaukee, Wis. (June 3); Seattle (June 17); Nashville (July 29); and Tampa (Aug. 5).
