An infant who had been missing since Wednesday was found safe in Wyoming, the Denver Police Department announced Friday morning, and the boy’s father was arrested.
Denver police issued an Amber Alert the missing infant who was last seen with his father, Anwar Rhodes, 39, about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Police said Rhodes allegedly assaulted the boy’s mother.
UPDATE: Thanks to a tip, authorities in Wyoming in the past hour located the child safe and arrested Anwar Rhodes. We are working to reunite the infant with his mother, and appreciate the assistance of the public and news media for sharing the Amber Alert information.

Thanks to a tip, Wyoming law enforcement found the boy Friday morning, and Rhodes was arrested, the Denver Police Department stated in a 9:02 a.m. tweet. Police are working to reunite the child with his mother.
Before Rhodes was arrested, he and the boy were last seen about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 5800 block of East 30th Avenue.
