Denver weather: Mostly sunny and mild Monday, but snow may fall later in the week

Mostly sunny skies Monday could make way for snow later in the week in the Denver metro area, according to the National Weather Service.

The high is expected to be 56 degrees with 6 to 10 mph winds that could gust as high as 16 mph. Temperatures will drop to an overnight of 25 degrees, according to the NWS.

The Boulder area could see snow in the evening with a 30% chance of rain and snow before 10 p.m., the NWS said. The accumulation is projected to be less than a half inch.

Mild and sunny weather in the metro area is expected to continue into Tuesday with a high of 50 and low of 26.

The Wednesday forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 47. At night, temperatures will drop to 25 with a 20% chance of snow before 11 p.m.
