COWBOYS at TITANS
8:15 p.m., Cowboys by 10 ½, 42 ½
HANK’S HONEYS: No matter what happens here, the Titans will be playing for the AFC South crown next week in Jacksonville. Because of that, Mike Vrabel has been talking about sitting some starters, including Derrick Henry, on a beat-up team that has lost five straight SU. The Cowboys can sometimes be hit and miss with big spreads, especially on the road. But Dak Prescott has been on a hot streak, completing 50 of 65 passes over the past two games, and the Titans rank 31st against the pass, allowing 279.6 yards per game.
The Cowboys say they are focused on getting their defense back on track for the playoffs and the Titans are the perfect opponent to accomplish that against. Their pass offense has been non-existent since Malik Willis took over for the injured Ryan Tannehill, leaving Henry to fend for himself against stacked fronts. Even his 126-yard game against the Texans’ rubbery run defense wasn’t enough to get the W.
IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Cowboys and the under.
