The crash on Interstate 70 westbound has been cleared up after the Eisenhower Tunnel was closed just west of the tunnel near Silverthorne.

Traffic was being detoured onto U.S. 6 Loveland Pass.

The Colorado State Patrol said the crash involved two commercial motor vehicles.

Eastbound I-70 traffic was also down to one lane in the area due to the crash but has since reopened.

CDOT said to expect “long delays” due to the crash.

Updated 9:58 a.m. Jan. 9: This story has been updated to correct that eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 reopened.
