Two show pigs in town for the National Western Stock Show that were stolen over the weekend were safely recovered, the Denver Police Department reported Tuesday morning.
The pigs, Roger and Doug, belonged to the Lee family, who had traveled from Quincy, Wash., to show their two pigs, Monday.
According to a news release from Metro Denver Crime Stoppers, the pigs, a pickup truck and the pigs’ trailer were stolen in the 5900 block of North Tower Road Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Denver police tweeted about 8 a.m. Tuesday the pigs and the vehicles were safely recovered. They also said they have not arrested anyone yet.
