A cooler, but still partly sunny, Monday will begin a mostly sunny week with snow possibilities mid-week.
Light snow falling in the Front Range mountains may seep over into the Denver metro area Monday afternoon, but the isolated showers will have little to no accumulation in the area.

Denver will mostly just be windy and cool, with a high temperature of just 40 degrees and winds of about seven to 14 mph possible. Further east, 40 mph gusts are likely.
The low Monday night is 20 degrees.
Tuesday and Wednesday during the day will be sunny and warmer than Monday, with highs of 46 and 51 degrees, respectively.
Another snow system will move through the state Wednesday evening through Thursday, bringing about three to seven inches of snow to the mountains and likely only a trace to an inch to the urban corridor.
The south and east sides of the Denver metro are most likely to experience snow Wednesday night. Winds across the mountains and plains will be strong in this system, though, with gusts reaching 35 to 45 mph.
After the system moves through, Thursday will have cooler temperatures with a high only of 37 degrees. Thursday night has a low of 16 degrees, then Friday and the weekend are back up to highs in the 50s.
