An Adams County man has been arrested on sex assault on a child charges after nine years on the lam in Morocco.
Patrick McKenner failed to appear for a court hearing in May 2014, eventually fleeing to Morocco, the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced in a news release Monday.
But last week, the FBI traveled to the North African nation to complete his extradition. On Saturday, McKenner was booked into the Adams County Jail, where he is being held without bond, the DA’s office said.
He’s been charged with five counts related to sex assault of a child, and is scheduled Friday to appear in Adams County District Court.
