One person suffered life-threatening injuries in an early-morning fire at an Aurora motel.
About 4:45 a.m. Saturday Aurora Fire Rescue responded to reports of smoke coming from a room at the Pace Setter Motel, 14291 E. Colfax Ave., according to a news release.
The fire occured at the Pace Setter Motel on E. Colfax Ave. Firefighters contained the blaze to 1 room.
Most people have been able to stay inside, but 9 units are now without power. is on scene working to restore utilities.

Firefighters rescued a person from inside the room and the patient was taken to a hospital. The fire was contained to the one room. Nine units at the motel lost utilities because of the fire, Xcel was on scene Saturday morning working to restore power. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
