The Denver Nuggets have a championship parade — and you can be there to celebrate with all the stars.
The Nuggets, who defeated the Heat 4-1 in the NBA Finals, will float through downtown on Thursday, the team announced soon after the deciding Game 5 victory.
The pre-rally will begin at 9 a.m. in Civic Center, replete with live music and a Nuggets season highlight reel, the team said.
Then the main event: The parade will begin at 10 a.m. from Union Station, followed by a rally in Civic Center.
If last year’s Avalanche celebration is any indicator, players will have a beverage in hand — and potentially some poured on their heads — as they soak in the glory from thousands of die-hards.
