A Wyoming woman who was reported missing in April was found safe in Denver.
The 32-year-old woman was reported missing after she was last seen on April 14 in Gillette, Wyoming, mobile home park and was picked up by a man in an older model Dodge truck, Gillette police said in a missing persons alert.

A man with a traumatic brain injury and dementia was reported missing on April 4 has been found safe.
The 70-year-old man was last seen on foot in the 14400 block of East Fremont Avenue in Englewood at 10:30 a.m. on April 4, according to a Colorado Bureau of Investigation alert on Facebook.
Officials were concerned because the man has severe cognitive impairments and may be confused.
April 6 – Broomfield woman with developmental disabilities found safe in Boulder
A woman with developmental disabilities who was reported missing early Sunday morning has been found safe, Broomfield police said Monday.
The 45-year-old left her Broomfield home just before 3 a.m. Sunday and was last seen in a Walmart on Flatiron Crossings Drive, .

March 26 – Denver woman who was last seen in November found safe
A 54-year-old Denver woman last seen in the City Park West neighborhood on Nov. 1, 2024, has been found safe, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation on Wednesday.
The woman was last seen around noon on Nov. 1 in the 1500 block of North High Street, CBI officials said in an alert released in February.

Feb. 21 – Man with cognitive impairments missing since Wednesday
A man with cognitive impairments has been missing since Wednesday.
Larry Shaffer, 63, was last seen around 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 19 in the 800 block of 11th Street in Golden, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. He was last seen wearing a gray camo hooded sweatshirt, a black winter jacket, brown pants and Merrell hiking boots.
Shaffer has cognitive impairments and requires medication and a walker that he does not have with him. He may be driving his blue 2024 Audi RS5 with Colorado license plate ENV-C95.
Shaffer is described as a white man with gray hair and blue eyes, standing six feet tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Feb. 10 – Denver woman last seen in May found dead near Cherry Creek
The body of a 56-year-old Indigenous woman who was last seen in Denver in May was found near Cherry Creek, according to Denver’s Office of the Medical Examiner.
Marcie Fairchild, a 56-year-old woman affiliated with the Cheyenne and Arapaho tribes, was .
Colorado Bureau of Investigation officials said in the missing person alert that Fairchild was last seen on May 28, near the 1400 block of Poplar Street in Denver.
On Friday, Denver officials announced skeletal remains found in October near Cherry Creek South Drive and Holly Street had been identified as Fairchild. Her cause of death remains under investigation.
Oct. 16 – Missing Denver woman found dead in apartment
A 48-year-old Denver woman reported missing Oct. 1 was found dead in her apartment Wednesday, according to the Denver Police Department.
Aimee Wilson, who is affiliated with the Cheyenne tribe, was last seen Oct. 1 near West 13th Avenue and Decatur Street in Denver’s Sun Valley neighborhood, CBI officials said in a missing person alert.
Her death is under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious, Denver police officials said.
Aug. 21 – Disabled Denver man missing since Tuesday
A 46-year-old Denver man with cognitive disabilities was reported missing after he was last seen in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood on Tuesday.
Ali Mada was last seen in the 4600 block of North Flanders Way around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Denver Police Department.
He’s described as Black; 5 feet, 8 inches tall; and 198 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Mada speaks limited English and was last seen wearing black pants with no shirt or shoes, Denver police said in a missing persons alert.

Aug. 16 – Aurora police seeking man missing since July
Aurora police are looking for a 44-year-old man who was last seen in July.
Christopher George was last seen on July 30 by his family, who reported him missing Aug. 7.
George is a 5-foot-4-inch man who weighs approximately 140 pounds. Pictures of him shared by the department show he is a balding white man with blue eyes. His white 2007 Dodge Dakota two-door pickup also is missing. Its license plate number is CYP P73.
Investigators believe George has traveled to the area around Longmont and Berthoud and into Adams County since going missing.
George also frequents a gas station and convenience store at Interstate 225 and Iliff Avenue in Aurora.

A 46-year-old Glendale man has been missing since he left for work in Brighton on March 3,
Geronimo Cano Ortega left for work as a painter in Brighton on March 3 and never returned home, according to a missing person alert from the police department. Ortega drives a blue 1993 Nissan Quest passenger van. He is described as Hispanic; 5 feet, 8 inches tall; and 187 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
March 1, 2024 – Missing Lakewood man found dead after driving into cemetery lake
A 33-year-old man reported missing from Lakewood on Tuesday was found dead at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery on Thursday after driving into a lake, according to Lakewood police.
Levi Termentozzi was last seen Feb. 15 near Youngfield and West Colfax avenues and police issued an endangered missing person alert for him Tuesday. Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to a call about a car in the lake at the cemetery at 12801 W. 44th Ave. on Thursday, Lakewood police spokesperson John Romero said.
Investigators believe Termentozzi drove his truck into the lake, Romero said, and his death does not appear to be suspicious. Feb. 28, 2024 – Federal Heights man with cognitive impairments found deceased
A 56-year-old man with cognitive impairments and mental health concerns went missing after he was last seen in the 2500 block of West 91st Street, according to Federal Heights police.
Roy Wilzbach was found deceased near 92nd Avenue in Federal Heights on Feb. 28. No foul play is suspected.
Jan. 23, 2024 – 73-year-old man reported missing in Mesa Verde National Park

A 73-year-old man has been reported missing in Mesa Verde National Park, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
Thomas Irwin, a six-foot, 250-pound man with brown eyes and gray hair, was last seen Jan. 15 wearing a gray fleece jacket, blue jeans and tan hiking boots. Law enforcement recovered his vehicle at the national park.
Irwin has a cognitive impairment that may cause him to be easily confused, according to CBI, and he may be without his required medications. CBI asks anyone who may have seen Irwin to call 9-1-1 or Mesa Verde National Park at 970-565-8441.
Jan. 19, 2024 – Endangered man missing in Mesa County
A 75-year-old man who had dementia and was reported missing from his home in the Redlands has been found dead,
John Miketin was found dead at about 6:30 p.m. Jan. 19, 2024, in the 2000 block of E 1/2 Road. He was reported missing after he left his home in the 2000 block of North Surrey Court on foot around 7:45 p.m. Jan. 11, 2024, and was not dressed for the cold weather.
The death was not considered suspicious, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
Jan. 12, 2024 – Moffat County man missing since December

A 70-year-old Moffat County man is missing and was last seen on Dec. 18,
Thomas Ray Velasquez was reported missing on Jan. 6 and search teams have conducted “an extensive ground and aerial search” near his home on Moffat County Road 53 since that time, according to the sheriff’s office.
Velasquez is described as white; 5 feet, 9 inches tall; 164 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He may have a 2020 Polaris Ranger UTV with camouflage body panels and black doors.

Dec. 19, 2023 – Arvada man with health issues missing
A 33-year-old Arvada man who can’t speak was reported missing from the 7300 block of West 60th Avenue on Tuesday afternoon,
Shawn Erpelding was last seen leaving the area on foot at around 4 p.m. wearing burgundy sweatpants and a gray waffle-patterned long-sleeve shirt. Erpelding has a prosthetic on his right leg to help him walk and uses a cane.
Erpelding can’t speak due to previous medical issues but can understand questions. He has gone missing before and was previously located in the Olde Town area, according to Arvada police. He is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Dec. 7, 2023 – Police deactivate Colorado Bureau of Investigation alert for missing woman
Lakewood Police Department officials asked the Colorado Bureau of Investigation to deactivate its missing alert for a 36-year-old woman who was last seen in the area of the 4400 block of South Estes Street in Lakewood at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 29, .
The deactivation did not say why police made the request or whether the woman was found safe.
The woman has mental health issues that can impact her decision-making and interactions with others, the bureau said.
Nov. 28, 2023 – Missing Yuma woman found dead
A woman reported missing from Yuma on Oct. 31 was found dead, according to the Yuma Police Department.
Britani Meek, 25, was last seen on Oct. 25 in the 600 block of South Birch, and police believed she may have been traveling to Denver. Police found her car in rural Yuma County on Nov. 16 and found a body on Nov. 22, according to police. An autopsy performed Monday confirmed the body was Meek’s.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation initially reported Meek had been located in a post on X on Tuesday.
Nov. 16, 2023 — Missing Delta County woman found dead in Feb. 2024
A Delta County woman was after she was last seen Nov. 12 while walking away from her trailer east of Delta has died, .
Samantha Bartolo had been living in a camp trailer near the Gunnison Gorge Conservation Area east of Delta with her boyfriend, the sheriff’s office said. Bartolo was last seen wearing black yoga pants with a spaghetti-strap black shirt.
Bartolo’s body was eventually found on Feb. 18 in a draw west of H75 road in Delta County. According to the Daily Press, an autopsy report ruled her death was accidental and caused by drug intoxication and exposure to the elements.
Oct. 28, 2023 — Missing Jefferson County man found dead in New Mexico
A missing Jefferson County man last seen in southern Colorado Wednesday was found dead Saturday in New Mexico.
A senior alert was issued for the 93-year-old man on Friday, Oct. 27 after he was reported missing from his house in Jefferson County. The man was found in Mora County, New Mexico, with his car at Charette Lake.
Oct. 12, 2023 — Search suspended for missing Fort Collins man in Rocky Mountain National Park
Rocky Mountain National Park officials have for Chad Pallansch, 49, of Fort Collins, who has been missing since Sept. 28. Pallansch was last heard from around noon on Wednesday, Sept. 27 and was reported missing the following day when he didn’t return from the national park. Rocky Mountain rangers confirmed his car was still parked at the North Inlet Trailhead on the west side of the park, where he started his hike.
Ground search teams, search dogs and drone teams continued searching through Sunday, but search efforts have not provided further clues, according to park officials. Patrols will continue in the area when conditions allow and any reported clues will be investigated, park officials said in an update.
Sept. 14, 2023 — Missing Indigenous woman from Fairplay
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued a Missing Indigenous Person Alert for Cheyanne Gayle Arviso, 29, of Fairplay.
Arviso is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 131 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen Sept. 10 on Front Street in Fairplay wearing black leggings with the word Peloton on them, a brown jacket and a green fleece-type jacket.

Sept. 4, 2023 — Missing Indigenous man from Colorado Springs
A Missing Indigenous Person Alert was issued by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office for Brandon Velasquez. Velasquez, 35, is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen on Sept. 4 near Goose Gossage Park in Colorado Springs. He is believed to be homeless and requires medication.
