Interstate 70 eastbound in Wheat Ridge reopened Friday morning after being closed for several hours due to a crash.
The Colorado Department of Transportation reported the crash at 2:42 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Ward Road.
The agency announced around 7:30 a.m. that the highway had reopened to traffic.
eastbound: Roadway reopened to traffic between CO 72; Ward Road and Exit 269A – CO 121/Wadsworth Boulevard.
