Colorado’s Cottonwood Pass from Gypsum to Roaring Fork Valley closed for winter

Eagle County says the roadway will reopen in April 2024 or when weather conditions allow

Eagle County’s Cottonwood Pass from Gypsum to the Roaring Fork Valley is now closed for the remainder of the winter season, the county announced Monday.

The section of roadway from Carbondale to Basalt between mile markers 2.5 in Gypsum to 12.5 will be reopened in April, or when weather conditions allow.

The county will announce when the roadway will reopen at a later time.
