The annual Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza took place on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, at the National Western Stock Show complex in Denver. This was the 29th annual Mexican Rodeo directed by Gerardo “Jerry” Diaz and his family. The extravaganza included a grand entry, Charro style bareback riding and bull riding, Folklore de Mexico singing, Escaramuza Charra riders and Mini-Escarmuza performers, Mutton Bustin’, the Westernaires and Matadors de Mexico.
