CU Buffs 2024 college football national championship odds: What chances sportsbooks are giving Colorado after end of 2023 season

It’s been 33 years since the Colorado Buffaloes last won a share of college football’s national championship, and if oddsmakers are to be believed, they’re a longshot to add another trophy to their display case.

The CU Buffs have +20,000 odds — meaning a $100 bet would win $20,000 — to win the national championship next year, according to both and . It’s the 31st- and 33rd-best odds, respectively, among the teams listed on the sites.

gives Deion Sanders’ squad better odds at +8,500, good enough for 24th-best among the teams listed. has CU at +30,000 odds, ranking them at No. 37.

Air Force is a longer shot, receiving odds ranging from +80,000 to +100,000, while Colorado State’s odds are +100,000 to +200,000.

Georgia opens as the consensus favorite (+350 to +450), followed by Alabama (+550 to +600) and Ohio State (+750 to +850),  Texas (+850 to +1,000) and defending champion Michigan (+900 to +1,000).
