
Drivers on the far eastern plains Wednesday morning should be wary of locally dense fog and decreased visibilities.
The fog rolled in overnight and is expected to last until at least 9 a.m. in northeast Colorado, while other counties in east-central and southeast Colorado are in a dense fog advisory until 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
If traveling on I-76 northeast of Fort Morgan this morning, you'll encounter fog, locally dense with visibility less than a quarter mile. A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for far northeast Colorado until 9AM this morning.

The entire eastern Colorado border with Nebraska and Kansas is in dense fog advisories.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect this morning until 11 AM over much of the eastern plains. There has also been some fog formation in Pueblo County. Keep in mind that this may result in slick road conditions due to subfreezing temps!

Some areas could have visibility as low as a quarter mile.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service across the east side of the state urge drivers to slow down and use caution at intersections and highway ramps.
