
A new non-stop flight from starting this spring will carry travelers to Rhode Island – the latest route announced by the start-up .
Breeze also is launching Colorado flights from Grand Junction to Orange County-Santa Ana, starting Feb. 2, and to San Francisco, starting in May.
Fares for one-way travel between DIA and the near Providence start at $99 if purchased before Jan. 29 for travel before Sept. 3. Breeze officials said the new Denver route is “seasonal,” beginning on May 16, with flights on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Breeze operates Airbus A220-300 and Embraer 190/195 aircraft.
“We are excited to welcome Breeze,” which brings the number of airlines operating at DIA to 25, airport chief executive Phil Washington said in a press release announcing the new route.
Thatap the second nonstop route announced this week at DIA, where airport officials also are touting an Aer Lingus flight to Dublin, Ireland. Other include London, Paris, Zurich, Reykjavik, Iceland, Munich, Frankfurt, Tokyo, and a dozen cities in Mexico and Central America.
Breeze began in May 2021 and offers more than 150 nonstop routes between 49 cities in 27 states. The company focuses on bypassing hubs for shorter travel times with flights between secondary airports.
