
Nearly 600 flights at Denver International Airport have been delayed Sunday after a Saturday storm dropped over five inches of snow there.
Over 1,000 flights were delayed Saturday during the onset of the storm, according to airline tracking website . On Sunday, 577 flights were delayed as of 4 p.m.

About 36% of Southwest Airlines’s traffic through Denver, 207 flights, were delayed. United Airlines had 186 delays, or 32% of its Denver traffic.
There are also 36 canceled flights, mostly through regional airline SkyWest. United Airlines has eight cancellations, Southwest Airlines has seven cancellations and CommuteAir has one canceled flight.
Most of the delays, 355, are departing flights, but the majority of the cancellations are arrivals.
