Denver weather: Spring showers to bring cooler temps, with light snow in the mountains

Tuesday will bring some isolated storms to the metro area, according to the National Weather Service

A warm start to the week is making way for cooler temperatures and scattered rain showers on Tuesday in Denver, according to the .

The day’s weather forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high of about 62 degrees, followed by a slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Wind gusts get could as high as 18 mph.

Temperatures at night are likely to get as low as 43 degrees, with showers and most of the showers and thunderstorms expected before 10 p.m., bringing mostly cloudy skies.
