More than 600 flights are delayed at Denver International Airport as a severe thunderstorm brings rain, hail and high winds to the Front Range, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.

There were 605 flights delayed and 11 canceled as of 6:45 p.m., according to . Most of the delayed flights were on Southwest and United Airlines.

Departing flights for Boston, New York City and Philadelphia are delayed up to three hours because of the storm,
