The Aurora Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a vehicle after a driver struck and killed a pedestrian on Saturday morning and fled the scene.

Police are looking for a blue, mid-1990s Pontiac Grand Am sedan with no front license plate that is expected to have passenger-side damage, including a missing side mirror on the passenger side, according to an .

The crash occurred at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of East Hampden Avenue and South Uravan Street.

The driver was last seen heading east on Hampden leaving the scene of the crash.

The name of the person killed in the hit-and-run has not yet been released.
