Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Wednesday morning near Georgetown for a vehicle fire, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

As of 6:45 a.m., eastbound I-70 was closed between Exit 228 for Georgetown and U.S. 40, .

Additional information about the fire and when the highway is expected to reopen was not available on Wednesday.
