I-76 back open after semi tips, crashes in Commerce City

Closure lasted from Saturday morning through the early afternoon

A vehicle crash tipped over a tractor-trailer Saturday on Interstate 76, closing eastbound lanes just south of the highway’s junction with U.S. 85 for several hours.

Shortly before 9 a.m., the Commerce City Police Department reporting that one person was injured in the crash involving the truck and at least one other vehicle.

The department said  multiple agencies were helping to offload the downed truck and remove it from the roadway.
